Harlech Engineering specialises in the manufacturing of high precision engineering components for almost all branches of industry, continually updating machining capabilities to maintain accuracy, quality, production efficiency and cost effectiveness, and to keep pace with the increasingly more stringent requirements of modern technology.
In line with this policy, the company has invested in the latest CNC precision machines and electronic inspection equipment to ensure that it is able to guarantee that all contracts are delivered on schedule, at the right price, and to the highest standard.
Company History

The Harlech Tool & Engineering Company is a privately owned family business established in 1962, a very small but well-respected engineering workshop in Landore, Swansea. Manufacturing Press tools and Pressed components, tooling and assemblies to a very high standard.
​
Following the retirement of Mr Bullock Senior who founded the company in 1962, Steve Watkins took up the challenge to move the company in a new direction. Outgrowing the premises and moving to the present site in 1994.
​
In 1998 after introducing CNC machining facilities, Growth and new customer demands required additional space, a new building was put up next to the existing factory to accommodate our expansion.

In 2007 Josh Watkins joined the company, working from the bottom up, serving his apprenticeship. In 2018 Josh took over the running and management of the CNC turning department. In 2015 Sam Watkins joined the company, in a few short years Sam has taken over running and management of the CNC Machining centres, also plays a pivotal role in the quality dept.

Very proud to have two of my sons working for the company, both sons play a major role in the day to day running of the company, adding youth and enthusiasm moving the company forward.
